Carson Center’s IGNITE features Emmy-winning interactive storyteller Su

Lincoln, Neb.--Bernie Su, a three-time primetime Emmy award-winning short form and interactive creator and showrunner will be featured at the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts' IGNITE on Friday, Dec. 3.
Su's presentation will be Friday, Dec. 3 from 12:30-1:50 p.m. via Zoom at https://go.unl.edu/ignitefall2021 and also available at the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts at 13th and Q sts. IGNITE is free and open to the public.
IGNITE is a colloquium for all Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts students, which involves guest lectures, workshops and seminars around creative and professional development.
Su's previous works include "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries" and "Emma Approved," both Primetime Emmy-winning YouTube interactive series; "Frankenstein MD," the first scripted digital series by PBS Digital Studios; "Vanity," a Daytime Emmy-nominated digital series sponsored by Maybelline; and "Socio," a psychological teen thriller developed by MTV.
He is currently the co-creator and showrunner of the Peabody award-winning "Artificial," the first live audience-interactive science fiction series to debut on Twitch. This series is a fully scripted serialized live narrative that lets the audience interact with the characters while shifting the story and plot elements. The series is currently in its second season on Twitch and just earned Su his third Emmy in Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media in 2019.
Su is also a member of the Carson Center's Advisory Council.
