Alumni Exhibition continues through Aug. 7 at Eisentrager-Howard Gallery

Lincoln, Neb.—Forty-three alumni from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Department of Art and Art History will show their work this summer in the exhibition “UNL Alumni Artists 1970-1973” in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.

The exhibition opens May 18 and continues through Aug. 7 in the gallery, which is located on the first floor of Richards Hall. Visitors can stop by Rm. 120 of Richards Hall Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for access to the gallery.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, June 5 from 5-7 p.m. in the Gallery. A closing reception will be held on Friday, Aug. 7, also from 5-7 p.m. in the Gallery.

The Department of Art and Art History solicited alumni who graduated from UNL between 1970-1973 to send artwork for the exhibition. The exhibition will be repeated in future years with different graduation dates included. Last summer’s exhibition covered the years 1945-1969.

Admission to the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery is free and open to the public. Richards Hall is located at Stadium Drive and T sts. on the UNL city campus.
