Go to ‘Other Places’ with UNL Jazz Orchestra and UNL Jazz Singers
LINCOLN, Neb.— The UNL Jazz Orchestra and the UNL Jazz Singers will showcase their talents with performances on March 3 beginning at 7:30 p.m. live from Kimball Recital Hall, titled “Other Places”.
The UNL Jazz Singers will open the night with three selections: Hand in Hand (Ralph Towner, arr. Dollison/Marsh); When I Fall in Love (Heyman/Young, arr. Phil Azelton); Here I Am, There I Go (J.D. Walter, arr. Kerry Marsh).

69 students chosen as Nebraska Young Artist Award winners
Lincoln, Neb.--The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts has announced the winners of the 24th annual Nebraska Young Artist Awards.
The awards recognize 11th-grade students from Nebraska for their talents in visual art, dance, music, theatre, and film and emerging media arts.
Sixty-nine students from more than 30 high schools across the state have been selected as award winners.

Spring Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist series to be presented online
Lincoln, Neb.--Twelve artists are presenting Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar lectures this fall in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Art, Art History & Design.
The School of Art, Art History & Design’s Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series brings notable artists, scholars and designers to Nebraska each semester to enhance the education of students.
