Jazz Singers perform at Jazz Education Network conference
Lincoln, Neb.--The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music’s Jazz Singers were invited to perform at the Jazz Education Network Conference in Dallas, Texas, earlier this month.
The Jazz Education Network is dedicated to building the jazz arts community by advancing education, promoting performance and developing new audiences. The annual conference draws thousands from jazz beginners to experts for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Sturm’s new book is biography of influential bassist Rabbath
Lincoln, Neb.--Hixson-Lied Professor of Double Bass and Jazz Studies Hans Sturm has written a biography about François Rabbath, a French double-bass virtuoso, soloist and composer who has influenced countless bassists around the world.

Welcome All Wonders holiday choral concert is Dec. 5
Lincoln, Neb.--Welcome All Wonders: A Family Yuletide Festival of Choirs will be Sunday, Dec. 5 at 3 and 7:30 p.m. in the Newman Center at 16th and Q streets in Lincoln. The concert is free and open to the public.
Five traditional choirs from the Glenn Korff School of Music will combine to sing holiday favorites, traditional carols and other separate and combined works. The choirs include University Singers, Chamber Singers, Varsity Chorus, University Chorale and the All-Collegiate Chorus.
