New Homeward Bound Route on Game Days

Look for the Cornhusker Marching Band to take a new route home after football games this fall. Rather than exiting through Gate 3 (Southwest corner) and parading down Stadium Drive as in the past, the CMB will now leave the stadium via Gate 24 (Southeast corner). The homeward bound route winds around the north side of Avery Hall to the large sidewalk that runs between Oldfather and Hamilton Halls (previously 12th Street).

It's a wrap on a new Cornhusker Marching Band Trailer

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cornhusker Marching Band Trailer, used to carry instruments and equipment across the nation and serving as a moving billboard, has come a long way since first being found and used in 2008 and now it’s latest vinyl covering has the trailer shiny and new again.

“We started shopping for a trailer during the Spring Semester of 2008 and completed the project (including the first vinyl covering) by mid-August,” said Assistant Director of Bands Doug Bush. “It was pretty quick.”
