Lincoln, Neb.--The Nebraska Repertory Theatre, Nebraska’s Actors’ Equity Association professional regional theatre, begins selling individual tickets for its 50th Anniversary year season on Thursday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m.

Individual production tickets are available by contacting the Lied Center Ticket Office at 402.472.4747 or 800.432.3231 or at the ticket office window at 301 North 12th Street Lincoln NE between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tickets are available online 24 hours at liedcenter.org. Individual tickets are $34 and $30, $17 and $15 for students/OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) members. See individual descriptions for price designation. Season tickets, including tickets to all six productions, are the best value at $130 regular and $65 for students and members of OLLI.

 “In 1968, a visionary group of theater enthusiasts launched Nebraska Rep,” said Nebraska Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Andy Park. “Over the next five decades, The Rep produced nearly 200 shows, employed hundreds of artists and provided professional theater to thousands of audience members. We are proud to enter our 50th year, and we hope that you’ll celebrate this major milestone by subscribing to this historic season. The season begins with AN ACT OF GOD on September 26, 2018, and concludes with SPIRIT OF ‘68 on April 20, 2019 (see below for a full listing.)

The One with the first and last word on everything has finally arrived to set the record straight. After many millennia, and in just 90 minutes, God (assisted by devoted angels) answers some of the deepest questions that have plagued humanity since Creation. Follow the fortunes of Mother Courage and her three children as they strive to make a living during the madness of war. A conversation on a subway turns vicious as DUTCHMAN’s two passengers, a white woman and a young black man, flirt with race and rage.
