Theatrix closes season with '4.48 Psychosis'

Lincoln, Neb.--Theatrix, the student-run theatre company within the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, closes its 2017-2018 season with 4.48 Psychosis, written by Sarah Kane and directed by University of Nebraska student, Candace Nelson.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. April 5, 6, 7, and 2 p.m. on April 8. All performances take place in the Lab Theatre in the Temple Building at 12th and R Streets. 4.48 Psychosis contains mature language and content that may not be suitable for all audiences. Can be triggering, contains suicide and depression. Viewer discretion is advised.

Tickets may be purchased for $7 online by visiting www.unltheatretickets.com or at the door one hour prior to performance in the Lab Theatre’s third floor lobby (cash only; seats subject to availability).

Theatrix’s production of 4.48 Psychosis is directed by senior double major in theatre performance and film/new media, Candace Nelson and features performances by freshman theatre performance major Nikki Wang-Ferrara sophomore theatre performance major Michaella Deladia, junior theatre performance and directing/stage management major Paul Schack, and senior theatre performance majors Lindsey Parodi and Nico Russell.

Costume Design for the production is by junior technical theatre major Sabrina Barton with sound designed by junior technical theatre major Emily Callahan and lights designed by Matt Benson, junior technical theatre major. Props Master is Dyan Spilinek sophomore technical theatre major. Freshman directing and management major Malin Hayden stage manages.

Theatrix is a student-run theatre company that works under the umbrella of the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts.
