“This play is a deconstruction of the classic The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, while most of the characters are similar and the plot follows the same essential progression, the play has been adjusted and adapted to more effectively serve a contemporary audience. The Seagull and Stupid F##king Bird both deal with the passions experienced by people under the pressures and pains of unrequited love. As an artist and as a human of this Earth I believe people are becoming complacent. They have forgotten how to give their love away and settle for less than they desire. It’s our intention that after viewing the show you will leave the theatre with something more inside your heart. As Con says, 'Forms that can make you feel like living Better or Fuller or More! We need bigger hearts! We need wider minds and better ideas and we need them now.'"--Paul Schack
