Lincoln, Neb.--Theatrix, the student-run theatre company in the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, presents a staged reading of “The Thanksgiving Play.” 

A troupe of terminally “woke” teaching artists scrambles to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month in this play by Larissa Fasthorse.

Performances will take place over three days in three locations in Lincoln:
• Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Swanson Auditorium at the city campus union, 14thand R streets.
• Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Indian Center, 1100 Military Road.
• Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lab Theatre, 3rdfloor of the Temple Building, 12thand R streets.

All performances are free and open to the public. No reservation is required.
