MEDICI exhibition opens Nov. 4; fund-raiser is Nov. 17
Lincoln, Neb.—The annual MEDICI exhibition will be on display Nov. 4-17 at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall, culminating in their annual fund-raiser Nov. 17.
The exhibition previews the works available for the art sale and silent auction at the fund-raising event. Art by Nebraska-educated and supporting artists will be sold to purchase new equipment and improve facilities in the School of Art, Art History & Design.

Nebraska ceramics alumni featured in exhibition
Lincoln, Neb.—“Nebraska Ceramic Alumni Exhibition” will be on display in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Eisentrager-Howard Gallery from Oct. 7-21.
A First Friday reception will be held on Friday, Oct. 7 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.
The exhibition consists of artworks from 35 ceramics alumni of the former UNL Department of Art & Art History. It was organized to coincide with the American Craft Council Conference, “Presence Tense,” that will occur Oct. 13-15 at Kaneko in Omaha.

Ceramics graduate student assists porcelain artist Yasuda in China
Lincoln, Neb.--“There are lots of times when in ceramics you find somebody’s work that you admire, somebody you’re curious about. But the experience of being able to go and be with them is something, I think, is so rare. New CAST announced for Hixson-Lied College
