Theatrix to hold spring musical auditions Dec. 9-10

Lincoln, Neb.--Theatrix, the student-run theatre company in the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, is holding auditions for its spring musical theatre production of “Ordinary Days.”

Auditions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 in the Lab Theatre (3rd floor Temple Building).

Those wishing to audition should prepare 32 bars (one minute maximum) of a song of your choice and bring accompaniment. Theatrix will have an auxillary cord and speaker available, so you only need to bring your phone with the audio file. (It can also be done acapella.) 

Callbacks will occur later on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 4:30 p.m.

“Ordinary Days” is a musical by Adam Gwon. Set in New York City, the musical follows four characters exploring how their ordinary lives connect in the most amazing ways.
