Kosch wins Downbeat Student Music Award
University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Junior John Kosch has been named a winner in Downbeat magazine’s 38th annual Student Music Awards.
Kosch won the Downbeat in Original Compositions – Large Ensemble; Undergraduate College Outstanding Compositions: “A New Hope”.

Glenn Korff School Alum Fieldson wins Third Prize in Lotte Lenya Competition

UNL Symphony Orchestra to present “Firsts and Favorites”

Marks named Associate Dean
Lincoln, Neb.--Associate Professor of Organ Christopher Marks has been named Associate Dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, effective July 1, 2015.He will take over from Professor of Art History Christin Mamiya, who is returning to the faculty in the Department of Art and Art History. She has served as associate dean since 2009, including one year as interim dean.

South Florida’s Owen featured with UNL Jazz Orchestra and Big Band
