MFA Thesis Exhibitions on display through April 19

Lincoln, Neb.--Six graduating Master of Fine Arts students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Art, Art History & Design will present their MFA Thesis Exhibitions in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall in April. The simultaneous solo shows will be on display in three rounds with a new pairing each week, April 1-19.

ChamberFest, Honors ChamberFest to take place over three nights

LINCOLN, Neb.— The spring ChamberFest and Honors ChamberFest concerts highlight the incredible work of student chamber music groups at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Glenn Korff School of Music.

ChamberFest is Wednesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westbrook Recital Hall. The first Honors ChamberFest is Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall and the final Honors ChamberFest is Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall.

Art historian Pardo presents next Hixson-Lied Visiting Scholar Lecture

Borden to teach stage combat for production in Spain

Lincoln, Neb.--Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Ian Borden will be traveling to Spain in May for a week to teach stage combat and choreograph the fights and battles for a production of “Numancia” by Francisco de Rojas Zorrilla.

He will be at Escuela Pública de Formación Cultural de Andalucía, an elite training program, located in Malaga, Spain.
