Beaver to perform ‘Bach: The Complete Suites for Unaccompanied Cello’
LINCOLN, Neb.— Johann Sebastian Bach’s 6 Cello Suites are the pinnacle of music for solo cello. The Gregory Beaver performance on Thursday, April 7 at 7 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall features all 6 Suites in a single evening, a marathon feat rarely attempted and never before in Nebraska.
Gregory Beaver is the cellist of the internationally recognized Chiara String Quartet in residence at UNL and a research associate professor in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music.

University Singers to perform at Carnegie Hall March 28

Habe to receive University of Nebraska Board of Regents Kudos Award
Lincoln, Neb.—Michaela Habe, Financial Specialist in the Department of Art and Art History, will receive a Kudos award during the March 18, 2016, meeting of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.
A UNL graduate, Habe has spent her professional career at UNL. She began as a student worker and held positions in University Housing before her current role as financial specialist in the Department of Art and Art History.
